Could it mean, "have an irrational hope in an impossible goal." That's what some think, but can faith for Christians mean more than that? The Bible talks about faith that can move mountains, but often we're just trying to find faith that can get us through the day. What does it mean to be a person of enduring, life-changing faith, faith that holds on in the hard times as well as the good times, faith that allows God to transform us as well as those around us? Come join us for Indiana's 8th Annual Summit conference and consider what it means to "Just Have Faith." CHOOSE ONE OF SEVEN TRACKS ACTING IN FAITH Wondering how to go deeper in your walk with Christ? In this track we will focus on foundational practices for followers of Jesus. We will explore how to cultivate a growing Christian life through Bible Study, Prayer, Being in Community, Knowing the Gospel Message and Giving away Our Faith. DIGGING INTO THE BOOK OF FAITH Want to go deeper in your ability to study the Bible? Ever wonder why committed Christians interpret the Bible differently? Wish you knew what to do with your Quiet Times? This track will help you dig deeper into Scripture and experience God in His Word. As we do so, we will focus on the book of Acts and discover more of what it means to be a vibrant, multi-ethnic, witnessing community of faith for Christ. SHARING THE FAITH Are you tired of just wishing you could be an effective witness for Jesus? Are you ready for some incredibly practical ways of engaging your friends in conversation about Jesus? Do you long for your chapter to truly be a witnessing community-a place where people meet Jesus on a regular basis? Then Sharing the Faith track is for you. During the weekend we will focus on the basic skills of sharing your faith with others and consider how to take those skills back to campus and make a difference. BUILDING THE COMMUNITY OF FAITH Racial and cultural divisions, misunderstanding, mistreatment and violence mark our world. As Christians we are called to live differently. This track will help develop vision and the skills for racial and cultural understanding. We will explore the scriptures and look at successful role models of diversity. Being a reconciler is a chief mark of a Christian. Come develop perspectives that will help you and your chapter grow in this area of Christian discipleship. GOING IN FAITH Jesus said "Go into the world and preach the Gospel." Being involved in world missions is not an option for the person of faith, but how does one become significantly involved in such a huge task? What if God does not call you to go overseas? Join us in the Going in Faith track to discover how you can be significantly involved in God's purposes in the world regardless of where you are now or in the future. OVERVIEWING THE OLD TESTAMENT PEOPLE OF FAITH Ever tried to study the Old Testament and got lost? Confused by all the details? Come join us for a fun, interactive way to walk through the main people, places and events of the Old Testament in a memorable way that will enhance your Bible study for years to come and give you a deeper, long-lasting understanding and appreciation of the Old Testament. FAITH THAT TRANSFORMS HIGHER EDUCATION Are you a graduate student, faculty, professional student (law, business, performing arts)? This one-day-only Grad-Faculty Summit (Saturday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.) is for you.
