He used power to empower and give dignity to the powerless. Compare this to other religious leaders, and the special status and exceptions they granted for themselves but not their followers.
He is a fulfillment of Scripture written hundreds of years earlier. See Isaiah 53 or Psalm 22, entire chapters for starters. This material is dated well before the time of Christ and makes the "prophecies" of Nostradamus and the psychics look pale and ignorant by comparison.
The authority of his teaching was recognized even by his enemies. His ethic is world reknown and quoted selectively by many who attempt to justify themselves. But they do not have his Lifestyle of integrity to back up their claims. Jesus does.
As a person of antiquity his historicity is attested to by several sources from antiquity including those Not sympathetic to His cause making it soundly established. The empty tomb and his conquering death make Jesus absolutely unique and demonstrate his Deity.
All his political or religious detractors ever had to do was produce the corpse that was killed and buried, and guarded, again by those similarly NOT sympathetic. But they could not. He alone has conquered the final enemy, death. He is indeed the best path. Read on...
